Knitted dress

DONE! and on it's way to the new parents along with a bonnet completed by Knitknot.

The first picture reads a bit more pink than the actual yarn, which is lavender. I used Idena Bambino Bomull, color #187. This stuff is increadibly soft, such a treat to work with. The pattern is from the Sidar Snuggly Baby Book that I've had for a number of years and cannot seem to locate online. The gauge didn't quite work with the Idena cotton, so I had to scale down a bit. I'm very pleased with how it turned out.

Now to resume Rogue knitting on Monday, there will be pictures!

Beautiful! Incredible!

I found your blog by accident and loved this project!

I am driving to your neck of the woods at the end of this month. I am going to check out the U of M school of public health.

I have never ever been to Minnesota, is there a special part of town I should check out or restaurant I should go to???

Welcome! The U is very nice.

For sight seeing I'm partial to St. Paul, but I recognize that it is crazy to drive around. Too many one way streets. There are lovely places to eat in St. paul, too many to name. I am partial to Micky's Diner near the Excel Center. It's a traditional greasy spoon, but wonderful for people watching.

If you are near the U you should check out Dinkytown and then Uptown. There are tons of restaurants in both areas, more fancy places in Uptown. There are so many wonderful parks and lakes in MN and May is a great time to be here. The official tourism site might be your best bet for sites and attractions. http://www.exploreminnesota.com/

Hello,

I just came upon your blog. I love the baby dress. Which Sirdar pattern is that from? Is there a number for the booklet or name? I have a new granddaughter and would love to make it for her. Congratulations on a beautiful project.
