I'm trying not to drool on my keyboard over your socks. Not that I need to, having a pair of G socks at home! I'll be available on Sunday the 24th for help moving/cleaning if needed. I'm going to Day of Fencing in Silfren Mere.
I'm so glad I found you!! Introductions first--I am known mundanely as Karen, but in the SCA, of which I have been a member for 20 years in An Tir, I am Elewys of Finchingefeld. I have tried to knit the Eleanor stockings a couple times--unsuccessfully. Bad patterns from poor translations and/or mistranscriptions. I went for plain stockings.
